Inn at Whitewell Wedding Photographer
This was n epic wedding. Katie and James’ are such a great couple and there wedding was no different. What an a stunning place the Inn at Whitewell is and truly an amazing setting for a wedding. Situated deep in the Ribble Valley near Clitheroe, the Inn at Whitewell is an award winning pub, restaurant and 5 star hotel. I started my day at Katie’s parents house for bridal prep.
Crown Lane Free Methodist Church
Katie and James got married at Crown Lane Free Methodist in Bartle near Preston. The church is next to Katies family’s house and farm where she was getting ready. The church was full for the wedding ceremony. After the documenting the wedding ceremony we did a few formal group shots before grabbing a few wedding portraits of the newly weds around the surrounding farm land. They had put some food on at the church before heading to the Inn at Whitewell for the reception.
On route to the Inn at Whitewell as you drive through the Ribble Valley the scenery is fantastic and it was a fantastic opportunity for a few couple shots. The Inn at Whitewell is set in such a beautiful setting and with so many different areas and views. It is a dream venue for couple portraits you are spoilt for choice. We choose to have a walk down to the Piggeries and then on the balcony looking over the river Ribble for a few more photos. The scenery is some of Lancashire’s finest.
Inn at Whitewell Wedding Reception
The wedding breakfast was in the marquee at the side of the main building. Katie and James’ choice of decoration was very in keeping with the rustic, traditional country feel of the Inn at Whitewell. The speeches, food and atmosphere was enjoyed by all.
Here are my favourites from the day.
